Our Founder, David Marriot Cooper started his working life in 1960 as a cadet and then as Metropolitan Police officer. On leaving the MPS in 1966 he studied to become a lawyer in London. Over the next fifty seven years he practised law as well as owning and managing his own Companies and those of others. He has always been an innovator and someone who could envisage the future. He has set up businesses from scratch, developed incentive schemes and found solutions to many different problems both social and business. He is also a Facilitator sending just one email followed by either a telephone call and a Meeting to set up Deals for himself and others.

In 2018 he found Infrared heating when looking for alternative heating for his bathroom, not wishing to have a radiator. He bought his first Infrared heating panel and was totally smitten by it. As a result, he went on to promote Infrared heating for an SME culminating in a £4M Deal with a major Bathroom Company.

In 2020 David decided to set up this Company to promote 'Infrared Replacing Gas'. He is the UK agent for Heat4All, based in Vienna, who manufacture high quality infrared panels. In 2019 David had studied both heat pumps and hydrogen and concluded that neither was viable for replacing gas and oil. Hence the birth of Infrared Replacing Gas.

Since 2002 David has written Papers on a voluntary basis on Eradicating Bed Blocking, Improving the Criminal Justice system, Policing, Domestic Abuse, Rough Sleeping and Homelessness, finding tenants for closed shops, suggesting to Government that 'relationship lessons' should be taught to all 4-year-olds. Notwithstanding the need to manage the new business of IRG David is open to providing research and Report on any social issue needing a solution.
